I am getting back into reading again, and I am actually reading two books at the moment!
I am reading On Immunity: An Inoculation by Eula Biss during the day and The Power of Habit: Why We Do What We Do in Life and Business by Charles Duhigg.
I actually started reading the first book because it was the only book out of all of the books Bill Gates recommended for summer reading on his blog that my library actually had at the time... I have three other books waiting for me Monday!
I feel like if Bill Gates recommended it, it must be a must-read! haha
As for the second book, I am reading the sample of it on my Play Books app... I'm not sure how far the book goes, as it is a sample... I hope that it goes all the way to the end! Otherwise, I may just cry. haha
My curiosity about how habits are formed, how good habits can stick, and how bad habits can be overridden was what lead me to begin reading that book. I have a hard time staying motivated, and now I know that if I just train my brain to make it a habit, I will naturally do it!
So far, I am really enjoying both books.
All of that being said, does anyone have any other recommendations for me?
I prefer non-fiction... I don't really get into fiction too much for some reason, so non-fiction only please!
My interests are practically limitless. I love learning about everything. I just like to have a good author bring the subject to me in a way that I am not scratching my malfunctioning brain. hahaha
I keep forgetting about dA. I'm not sure why, and it's nothing personal!
I do believe it has a lot to do with the fact that my fan base is pretty much all on FA... and that's where I get most of my clientele.
BUT... I am going to try to be more active here! I even bookmarked it so that I won't forget forget. haha
